Actress Kareena Kapoor is in news lately for walking out of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Ram Leela’. But the other news doing rounds is that the actress has been signed to do Prakash Jha’s next political movie, in which she will play the role of a politician.

“Kareena Kapoor will be seen playing a female Prime Minister of India in Prakash Jha's political sequel. The film is expected to go on the floors by the end of the year and apparently it was Ajay who suggested that Kareena should play the role. Jha immediately agreed and after ‘Omkara’ it will be her first major performance-oriented role where she would also be de-glamorized,” said a source to Midday.

Apparently the actress is all set to do intensive research for her role as she doesn’t want her glamorous persona to overshadow her performance.

Actor Aamir Khan isn’t called a perfectionist for no reason. It’s a pretty well known fact that Mr. Perfectionist doesn’t release his movies until he is completely satisfied with it. And apparently he isn’t happy with the way his much awaited movie ‘Talaash’ has come out.

According to the reports the actor is in a habit of showing his movies to his close friends and relatives after it’s done. And according to sources the response he got from his friends wasn’t positive and they were not really impressed with certain sections in the second half of ‘Talaash’.

After this the actor wanted to reshoot the second half and insisted on sitting through the final edit but the director of the movie, Reema Kagti, was adamant and refused to do so.

This hasn’t gone down well with Aamir Khan, who apparently is at loggerheads with his director currently.

According to Soha Ali Khan dating a fellow actor can be very tricky. The actress, who is currently dating Kunal Khemu, said that it’s important to discuss about intimate scenes in the movies with your beau before doing them otherwise it would lead to fights.

“Otherwise Kunal and I would have very bad fights over the issue. I haven't done anything bold yet, anyway,” said the actress to a daily.

The actress admitted that she had a tiny tiff with her beau after she watched his intimate scenes in ‘Blood Money’.

“We had a fight about a particular scene, when I went to watch Kunal's latest film. I don't think any girlfriend would have been happy seeing that,” she said.

“There is an immature kid in all of us. But I too am an actor. I should be mature or else I should not have been dating another actor,” she added.

Director Anurag Kashyap’s movie ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ might not be setting the box-office rolling like ‘Rowdy Rathore’ but in its own way it’s been successful at the box-office.

“We thought that people were liking the film, but in the first three days, we didn't collect so much. But even that collection has been the biggest of my life. The kind of film this is and the kind of actors there are, the collection was big,” said Anurag Kashyap to a daily.

The director, who has already delivered hits with ‘Dev D’ and ‘Udaan’, said expecting Rs.100 Crores was a bit too much.

“Rs.100 crore is too much of an expectation. If it happens, it is good. I want that whoever has worked in the film should earn a lot of money,” he said.

“This comparison is unfair. If you compare my film with ‘3 Idiots’, then I should compare that with ‘Avengers’. See the picture according to its budget,” he added.

Akshay Kumar, who has been hosting the reality show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’, will not be returning to host the fifth season of the show.

Akshay Kumar had earlier agreed to host the fifth season but as his wife Twinkle Khanna is pregnant with their second child, Khiladi Kumar has decided to walk out of the show to spend time with his wife and his baby, who is due around the same time.

So the makers of the show have decided to rope in Ajay Devgn to host fifth season of the show.

“Ajay is known for doing his own stunts ever since his ‘Phool Aur Kaante’ days. It’ll be the perfect way for the Bollywood actor to enter the world of television. Though Ajay has appeared in a few TV shows, and even been a mentor for a couple of episodes of Emotional Atyachaar, this will be his first full length stint on television,” said a source to a daily.

The makers have no doubts that Ajay Devgn is the right replacement to host the celebrity stunt show.

Previously Sanjay Leela Bhansali revealed that his next movie ‘Ram Leela’ will star Ranveer Singh and Kareena Kapoor. The director was very excited to work with Kareena Kapoor.

But now it’s been reported that the actress has walked out of the movie. The reason given by the actress is that she doesn’t have enough dates.

“I walked out a week ago. I had allotted 100 days for the shooting in August as per contract but Mr. Bhansali wanted more days to shoot. My managers Reshma Shetty and Zahid Khan thought about it and decided it wasn't possible as I have signed three new big films for next year. The shooting for one of them begins in October immediately after the release of Heroine. I've also given 32 days of promotional time for Heroine as it's a very special film for me. That wouldn't have been possible if I had given those dates to ‘Ram Leela’,” said Kareena Kapoor to TOI.

Actress will be getting married about the same time but the actress said that it had nothing to do with her walking out of the movie.

The movie ‘Cocktail’ starring Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty is all set to release on July 13^th. But Director Homi Adajania revealed that if everything had gone as planned initially, Saif Ali Khan wouldn’t have been in the movie and we would have been Imran Khan in the lead role.

“Saif was not the first choice. Imran was supposed to do it but he was not sure if he wanted to do it at that point of a time,” said the director to IANS.

But as Saif Ali Khan is producing the movie under his Illuminati banner he read the script of the movie and loved it so much that he himself wanted to play the male lead.

“As Saif is the producer, he was going through the scripts; he read it and loved it. So, it worked out pretty well and that is how he came on board,” the director said.

The first look of Preity Zinta’s much awaited movie ‘Ishkq In Paris’ has finally been released.

The movie not only marks return of Preity Zinta on big screen but also is the actress’s maiden production venture.

The movie is mostly set in Paris and the first look released looks like a postcard containing beautiful pictures of the city.

Actress Deepika Padukone will be back on big screen as Veronica in her upcoming movie ‘Cocktail’. The actress said that playing role of Veronica wasn’t easy and she needed a lot of inner confidence to play it.

“When I was given the script I was offered both the roles… it was for me to decide which part to take up. I was confused. Then I felt I was ready to play Veronica. But I needed inner confidence to be able to pull it off as the character could go wrong in many ways,” she said to PTI.

Deepika Padukone sports a bikini in the movie, which has received positive response from her fans. But the actress said that getting the bikini body wasn’t all that easy.

“The Indian body type is somehow not suited for a bikini so I feel we Indians need to work a little extra on our body if we want to carry it off well. I changed my work out slightly,” she said.

“I had to sacrifice going out for dinners, every time Dino (Dinesh Vijan) decided to take the entire cast out, I would sit in my hotel and have steamed fish and not have any dessert. All this was not easy,” she added.
