The Superstar Rajinikanth who was hospitalized in April this year is all set to be discharged soon. Rajinikanth fell ill on sets of his new movie Rana. He was rushed to hospital where he was admitted for a month before he was transfered to Mount Elizabeth Medical Center in Singapore for further treatment.
Rajinikanth was diagnosed with kidney dysfunction and was on dialysis. But now Rajinikanth is said to have made progress in his health and doesn’t need dialysis anymore. He is to be discharged shortly after which he will move into an apartment rented in Singapore by his family. He will rest there for a while and go for regular check ups.
After his complete recovery he will be back to shooting his movie Rana.
“Rajni sir is keen to perform all the stunts himself. That’s why we don’t want him to rush back to shooting. As far as I know, he doesn’t like the idea of using a body double to do his action sequences. You know, he is keeping a close eye on Rana’s development”, says the director KS Ravikumar.
The director will begin the shooting of the movie at the end of this month. In absence of Rajinikanth the scenes with Deepika Padukone and Sonu Sood will be shot.
