The superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been slammed by Shiv Sena (yes, yet again) for throwing a party after the Mumbai blasts.
Saamna the member of Shiv Sena said that Shah Rukh Khan throwing a party when Mumbai were mourning a loss shows that SRK who plays hero on silver screen is in fact a villain in real life.
Shiv Sena’s paper reported that several prominent celebrities had decided to forgo any celebrations including Guru Poornima.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan too had declined to receive an honor bestowed upon her by the French Government on the day of the blasts. "But, Shah Rukh did not have the sentiment to cancel the party," the paper said.
Shah Rukh Khan threw a lavish party on Friday evening to celebrate the birthday of Katrina Kaif and also the release of movie ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’.
The party was attended by Farhan Akhtar, Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, Arjun Rampal, Abhay Deol, Karishma Kapoor, Amrita Arora, Chunky Pandey and few others.
"@iamsrk thanks for the super celebration last night. A perfect end to the release day... Love (sic)," tweeted Farhan yesterday.
This is not the 1st time that Shiv Sena has targeted Shah Rukh Khan. He had previously come under their scrutiny when he lamented the exclusion of Pakistan players in IPL in wake of 26/11 terror attacks.
