But now the Udaan director has decided he has waited long enough and will start the project without Aamir.

The movie is based on the book ‘Mumbai Fables’ that focuses on the city’s literary and architectural history. Therefore, the movie will be set in the 60’s.

The budget of movie is expected to be around Rs.15-17 crores, which makes this movie Anurag Kashyap’s most expensive venture yet.
"Studio 18 is producing the film and money is not an issue here," he clarifies quickly.
