Deepika Padukone will be replacing Katrina Kaif in the director Ayan Mukerji’s next venture produced by Karan Johar. The movie that stars Ranbir Kapoor as the lead actor was slated to be a come back of sorts for Katrina Kaif-Ranbir Kapoor jodi. The movie was to go on floors in November.

Katrina Kaif was very excited about the movie and rumors suggested that it was she who had leaked the news to the press. But the actress has now realized that she is in fix with the dates and has decided to back out of the project.

The actress was asked to allot same dates to Yash Raj Productions next movie which is being directed by Yash Chopra himself and stars Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma as other leads. The actress preferred Shah Rukh Khan over Ranbir Kapoor.

However, Katrina’s loss is Deepika’s gain. The actress is very excited about the movie and has been giving out feelers by saying, “I have no issues working with Ranbir".

This will be the first movie Deepika will be doing with Ranbir Kapoor after their breakup. This will also be her first movie with Dharma Productions. No wonder the actress is very excited.
