Karan Johar’s ‘Agneepath’, a remake of Amitabh Bachchan’s classic movie by the same name is one of the most eagerly awaited movies.
On Monday, Karan Johar along with the cast of the movie and the movie’s director Karan Malhotra revealed the first trailer of the movie.
The movie stars Hrithik Roshan in the character of iconic ‘Vijay’ which was essayed by Amitabh Bachchan in the original ‘Agneepath’. Priyanka Chopra has been cast as the leading lady and Hrithik Roshan’s love interest. Sanjay Dutt plays the villain role previously played by Danny Denzongpa. Rishi Kapoor too plays a negative character in the movie. The role of Mithun Chakraborty in the original has been done away in the remake version.
The movie will release on 13th January 2012 which incidentally falls close to Hrithik Roshan’s 38th birth on January 10th.
