I am not doing a movie with Shah Rukh or Ranveer: Sonakshi Sinha

The rumors of Sonakshi Sinha signing Abhinav Kashyap’s next movie, a love story set in Australia, opposite Shah Rukh Khan have been doing rounds for a while.

But recently the actress denied the rumors.

"I haven't signed any film with Shah Rukh Khan. I had also read the news somewhere but I haven't signed any film yet," said the actress.

The rumors were also rife that Sonakshi has been paired opposite Ranveer Singh in YRF’s next production venture. The actress also denied these rumors.

This isn’t the first time the actress has been surrounded by rumors. Ever since Sonakshi made her debut in ‘Dabangg’ along side Salman Khan, she has been the media favorite. The rumors about her catfights with fellow actress like Katrina Kaif, Zarine Khan, Asin and Anushka Sharma have always kept her in limelight.

“I am very happy in my personal space. I have no (negative) equations with anyone. I do my work; go back home and look forward to the next day. I rarely go out partying for such things (alleged catfights) to happen,” said Sonakshi Sinha.

She also added that she had no qualms about the rumors as she looks on the positive side of it.

“People want to read about you, so you will be written about. And they would rather talk about you than not talk at all. It’s a sign that you are doing well. If you are successful, people will try to pull you down. It’s a rule of life”, she said.

But she did admit that the rumors affected her before but now she finds them funny.

“It’s very silly and funny. You know, I have stopped reading newspapers, so it doesn’t affect me at all. Back then, I was in a space where it would affect me, though I’d never react. Now, it has come to a point where I don’t care,” she said.

When asked about the movies she is working on currently she said, “I am doing Rowdy Rathore and Joker simultaneously. Then, I start with Race 2, before taking on Son of Sardar and Kick”.

She also said the reason she walked out of ‘Vishwaroopam’ was her unavailability.

“Due to prior commitments, I pulled out. Being a newcomer, it’s not right for me to delay other projects because of one film. So we parted ways amicably,” she concluded.
