Abhay Deol is one lucky man.

Thanks to Abhay’s upcoming movie ‘Shanghai’ by Dibakar Banerjee, Abhay Deol will now walk the red carpet for the Diner Du Siecle (Dinner of the century) event to be held in Shanghai with none other than Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson.

Even though the movie ‘Shanghai’ will be releasing only next year Abhay has been invited to represent Bollywood in an event that’s touted to be China's most prestigious event ever. Many filmmakers and actors from across the globe would make their presence felt in this event.

“The event, hosted by an international wine brand Moet and Chandon, is being touted as one of China's most prestigious gatherings this year,” said a source.

Abhay Deol is the only Bollywood celebrity who has been invited.

"I'm really looking forward this event, it's humbling and exciting all at the same time! It's heartening to see them recognize talent from across the world and celebrate life and art together. I'm inspired to do even more innovative work after this,” said Abhay Deol.

When asked about walking the red carpet with Scarlett Johansson he gushed and said, “"What can I say about Scarlett that has not already been said? Being a celebrity means being many things. The personality that comes across in the characters you play, the image that comes through from the articles that are written about you, the private life that becomes public whether you want it to or not. I'm just looking forward to getting an insight into the person Scarlett, and not the celebrity”.
