Now that Madhur Bhandarkar has found his ‘Heroine’ heroine in Kareena Kapoor, he has started planning his next project.

If the sources are to be believed then Madhur Bhandarkar will very soon start working on a sequel to his very popular movie ‘Fashion’.

“Bhandarkar and UTV's head honcho Ronnie Screwvala were both very keen to make the second part of Fashion. Fashion did really well and also earned the lead actress Priyanka Chopra a lot of critical acclaim. Looks like finally, Bhandarkar and Screwvala will have their dream come true. They have decided to launch the second part to Fashion in 2012,” said a source to Mumbai Mirror.

The movie ‘Fashion’ was released in 2008 and was equally appreciated both by critics and fans. The movie started Priyanka Chopra, Kangna Ranaut, Mugdha Godse and Arbaz Khan. Priyanka Chopra was praised for her performance in the movie and even received a National award for the same.

But the cast for ‘Fashion 2’ hasn’t yet been finalized.

"The cast has not been finalised. Bhandarkar will zero down on a few names and then shortlist them. Right now, he is totally focused on Heroine," said the source.

‘Heroine’ will go on floors in the month of November this year with Kareena Kapoor as its lead actress. The movie ‘Fashion 2’ if it happens will only start after Madhur completes ‘Heroine’.

"Fashion Part 2 will go on floors in December 2012," added the source.
