Katrina Kaif, who is working for the first time with the actor Imran Khan in the movie ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’, says that Imran Khan has an uncanny resemblance with his mamu Aamir Khan.
“He looks like Aamir, he sounds like him. At times I feel it is Aamir and not Imran that I am sitting with and talking to. It freaks me out completely,” said Katrina.
‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ also features the Pakistani heart throb Ali Zafar, who made his Bollywood debut with ‘Tere Bin Laden’.
Actress Katrina Kaif says that Ali Zafar was instrumental in her perfecting the ‘rockstar’ look for her character in the movie as Ali Zafar taught her how to play the guitar.
“I learnt 10 per cent from Ali and the rest 90 per cent Farhan (Akhtar) taught me. Ali was so impatient with me. After playing for just five minutes, he'd expect me to pay like a rockstar. I couldn't do that,” said Katrina.
Katrina also had to smoke a beedi to complete her look. And it was the choreographer Bosco from the Bosco-Caesar duo who taught her to hold the beedi.
“Imran and Ali both don't smoke cigarettes, let alone beedi. So there is no way that they would have taught me to hold a beedi. It was actually Bosco who taught me to hold it while shooting the song,” said Katrina.
The movie ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ is set to release on September 9th. The movie is directed by debutant director Ali Abbas Zafar and is a romantic comedy.
