The ‘Singham’ actress Kajal Agarwal’s topless picture for men’s FHM magazine has been in news ever since the picture leaked on the net.
Kajal Agarwal however denies ever posing topless.
“I was wearing a black tube top while shooting. In fact, I still have the pictures that I shot in the tube top, which they sent for my approval. Moreover, I did not give them an interview,” she said to a daily.
The actress has never worn skimpy clothes and is mostly seen in ethnic wear still stands by her principles.
“I’m not the kind of person who would ever do a topless shoot. My reputation and work stands by me. Publishing a distorted version of the photo is wrong and unethical,” said the actress.
She also added that her representative would take action against the magazine for morphing her picture and trying to malign her image.
Kajal Agarwal can be seen covering her modesty with her hands crossed over her shoulders. The picture is pretty similar to Lindsay Lohan’s picture for ‘Entertainment Weekly’ magazine.
But the editor of FHM magazine Kabeer Sharma gave a statement saying that picture was real and wasn’t morphed like the actress claims.
"People, people calm down. FHM has never in the past or will in the future morph pictures of any celebrities. We shot with madam Agarwal on the 18th of August in Mumbai and have a full team composed of assistants, stylists, makeup artists, photographers and others to back it up. We’d be happy to release the full untouched raw pictures on the Internet soon to back it up also," he said.
"Furthermore we also have a model release form signed by Kajal herself. To say that the picture is morphed is an insult to both the brand FHM as well as the collective intelligence of you (her fans) as well as anyone with half an idea about how Photoshop works. We don’t know what exactly made Kajal change her mind after the shoot… but if she did, the magazine really cannot be blamed," he added.
