Akshay Kumar has collaborated with Himesh Reshammiya to produce a comedy film titled ‘Khiladi 786-Made In Punjab’, which will be released on Diwali 2012. The first look of the movie was released recently.

The movie is an action comedy and will star Akshay Kumar in the lead role, while Himesh Reshammiya will play a Gujarati guy named Mansukh. The movie will also star Paresh Rawal as Himesh Reshammiya’s Dad. The film will be directed by debutant Ashish Mohan.

The makers are also playing in on roping in Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra in two pivotal roles.

The movie story has been penned by none other than Himesh Reshammiya himself.

When contacted Himesh he refused to divulge any information and said, “It's too early to talk about the project."

With this movie Akshay Kumar will make a comeback to his favorite ‘Khiladi’ label. His last Khiladi film was Khiladi 420 in 2000.
