There has been so much of hoopla surrounding the nude picture of Pakistani actress Veena Malik on the cover of FHM magazine.

As soon as the picture was leaked online it created a backlash aPakistan, she was slammed by the Pakistani media and her father disowned her.

The actress though immediately claimed that she hadn’t posed nude for the magazine and her picture was in fact morphed. She even went ahead and sued the magazine for 100 million rupees.

As a reply to her law suit, the magazine threatened to sue for 250 million rupees.

In a recent interview with CNN, the actress said that she hadn’t posed nude but only topless for the shoot.

“I admit that I have done a bold shoot, but I was not nude. There is a big difference between topless and being nude. You will see various shoots here in the Bollywood industry where the actresses actually went topless but they were covered like the way I was,” the actress said in an interview.

The actress said that she was extremely hurt by her father’s reaction.

“He did not speak to me. He spoke to one of the media groups and like he was (crying), I mean he was too upset ... Okay I mean I don't blame him for that," he said.

“I am not a perfect Muslim or a perfect person, but I haven't committed a crime, and unfortunately things like this are part and parcel of the industry I work in. I am not bothered about what they think. My fans and many Pakistanis support me and believe (in) me,” she added.

This isn’t the first time that the actress has been in a controversy. She came into spotlight for her relationship with infamous Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Asif, who was found guilty in spot-fixing scandal. Later she made news due to her relationship with her ‘Bigg Boss’ co-contestant Ashmit Patel.
