Case filed against Shah Rukh Khan in Kerala

Kerala Police have filed a case against Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan for violating provisions of Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act 1986.

Shah Rukh Khan on December 4th had performed at an inauguration of a showroom in Kerala. He had performed his famous song ‘Chammak Challo’ from his movie ‘Ra.One’, with some skimpily clad artistes.

These skimpily clad artists dint go down well with Mathew Saju Pulluvuzhi, who filed a petition against Shah Rukh Khan and the showroom, who organized the event. Ernakulam Judicial First Class Magistrate A Ijas had directed the Police to register the case against the same.

The police have registered case against Shah Rukh Khan and partners of the private textile showroom under sect 3, 6 of the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) act 1986 and under IPC sections 294 (obscene acts and songs), and 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention).
