Ever since her debut as a village girl in ‘Dabangg’ movie, Sonakshi Sinha has been stereotyped the same. She plays a village belle even in her upcoming movies Prabhudeva's ‘Rowdy Rathore’, Shirish Kunder's ‘Joker’ and Arbaaz Khan's ‘Dabangg 2’.

But with her movie ‘Lootera’ Sonakshi Sinha has had a chance to shed her image. Apparently the actress got hot and steamy for the first time ever with Ranveer Singh in the movie.

"Ranveer and Sonakshi have a very intimate scene in the film, which was shot last week in FilmCity. A special set recreating Dalhousie was constructed. Ranveer and Sonakshi were quite comfortable while filming the scene. Of course, there were a few retakes,” said a crew member to Mumbai Mirror.

“The scene is suggestive and not vulgar. It has been shot very aesthetically. It appears in one of the songs. In the film, Sonakshi and Ranveer are madly in love. Both of them were very comfortable shooting the scene,” confirmed one of the producers from the Phantom Production house (on request of anonymity).

The decision of Sonakshi Sinha to do steamy scene with Ranveer Singh has come as shock to many as the actress had previously refused to get intimate in movies. It is rumored that the reason Sonakshi Sinha walked out of Kamal Hassan’s ‘Vishwaroopam’ for the same reason.

Both Sonakshi Sinha and Ranveer Singh remain unavailable for comment.
