Bollywood heart throb Hrithik Roshan turns 38 today.
The actor who is known for his good looks, dance moves and versatile acting said that though birthdays were special occasions, for him everyday is special and he counts his blessings every single day.
“Oh they are always special. I feel blessed every single day. I am happy that I have some really beautiful people around me. And I thank God each day for giving me the awareness and ability to take control of my life. That's my gift,” he said to a daily.
Hrithik Roshan though said that he would prefer to have a mellow birthday with family rather than have a huge birthday party.
“I have had too many parties. I think it’s a far better proposition to settle down at home and have some fun time with the boys (sons Hrehaan and Hridhaan). I would like to play with them the whole day. I plan to take the day off, but it’s strictly for my time with family. I don’t think they would like to share that space with anybody either,” he said.
Hrithik Roshan is also gearing up for the release of his movie ‘Agneepath’, which is a remake of the cult classic of same name.
When asked if he was excited for nervous about the movie’s release he said, “I am more excited than nervous. I like Karan Malhotra. He was an AD on Jodhaa Akbar. Here he was the one whose instructions I was following. Agneepath is his vision.”
Recently both Aamir Khan and Hrithik Roshan’s good friend Farhan Akhtar commended Hrithik Roshan acting chops and versatility in going from ‘Guzaarish’ to ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ to ‘Agneepath’ to ‘Krish’.
“I am humbled. That Aamir and Farhan both hugely successful and creative people should have a kind word for me, makes me happy. I am an adventurer and an explorer. For me doing the same thing over and over again spells doom,” he said.
