AR Rahman’s latest song ‘Hosanna’ from the movie ‘Ek Deewana Tha’ might have managed to captivate the audience but that dint stop it from landing into legal trouble.

The song ‘Hosanna’ has managed to create magic but the Christian Secular Forum (CSF) in Mumbai, has objected to the use of the word ‘Hosanna’ in the song.

According to them the word ‘Hosanna’ is sacred and used in prayer songs among Christians and Jews. They have objected to use of such sacred word.

They went on to add that using ‘Hosanna’ in such derogatory fashion has hurt the sentiments of Jews and Christians and they have therefore demanded an apology for the same.

The CSF also plans to move to court against Fox Star Studios and Sony Music and file a police complaint.

The word ‘Hosanna’ means Save or Save Now in Hebrew.

The producers of ‘Ek Deewana Tha’ haven’t confirmed the reports yet.
