Telugu girl Anjali, who set box-office ringing with her films in Kollywood, has been roped in as wife of Venkatesh in Dil Raju’s next venture ‘Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’. Recently, the producer had roped in Amala Paul of ‘Bezawada’ fame as the leading lady opposite Venkatesh. But, following some unknown reasons the actress has walked out of the film and paved way to Anjali.

It is heard that Dil Raju is impressed with the performance of Anjali in her latest film ‘Journey’ and immediately approached her and received the green signal for this role, says the buzz. The film had casting problems from the time it was announced.

Currently, the shooting of the film is going on in Vishakhapatnam, where the unit is shooting a song on Venkatesh. Mahesh Babu will join the shoot from next month onwards. Samantha has been roped in as heroine opposite Mahesh in this multi-starrer.
