Director Puri Jagannath is planning on bringing two of the biggest Indian celebrities Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth together for a movie. If the director is successful in pulling this off, it would be the biggest casting coup yet.

The director, who has already worked with Amitabh Bachchan in ‘Bbuddha Hoga Tera Baap’, met Rajinikanth in Chennai to discuss the project.

“Yes, I met Rajini Sir in Chennai. I’ve wanted to work with him for the longest time. So far I hadn’t dared to approach him because I could not think of a role that would do him justice. It’s been my life-long dream to direct Amitji and Rajini Sir,” said the director.

Apparently, Rajinikanth found the script of the movie interesting and has showed interest in the project.

It is a well known fact that Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth are great friends and even the families are close. But the actors have never come together on screen after their movie ‘Hum’, which released way back in 1991.

If this project goes as planned it would a dream come true to all their fans.
