Amitabh Bachchan, who underwent surgery on Saturday for his stomach ailment, was supposed to be discharged on Monday. But the actor suffered a new bout of pain and the doctors had to delay his release and keep him under observation.

But Amitabh Bachchan early today wrote on his blog that he was doing much better now.

“A day that brings you to the brink of wellness and pushes you back into the well of uneasy health... the body shall dictate always! Cure can be distasteful till it begins to work .. till that happens, your faith in it diminishes by the minute...then suddenly AIW: All Izzz Well .. !!” he wrote.

On Saturday Amitabh Bachchan underwent two surgeries. His abdominal problems started after he suffered a very fatal injury on sets of his movie ‘Coolie’. The accident nearly cost him his life.

Both Amitabh Bachchan’s family and doctors are tight lipped about when the actor will be discharged from the hospital.
