Apparently, Karan Johar was so impressed with Kareena Kapoor’s editing and scripting skills during the shooting of the movie ‘Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu’ that the director is planning on giving Kareena Kapoor her first full fledged directorial venture.

The filmmaker is reportedly keen that the actress goes behind the camera after her marriage with Saif Ali Khan.

“Kareena and Karan are like soul siblings. She discusses a lot of ideas with him. And she also got to be a part of the behind-the-scenes team in EMAET. It was during the shooting that Karan realized how great an aptitude Bebo has for cinema. In fact, she gave very crucial tips for revising and improving the script too,” said a source close to production house to Midday.

“Karan has asked her to get on board as a formal assistant and then eventually direct a film,” the source added.

During the shooting of ‘Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu’, Kareena Kapoor took a very keen interest in script which not only impressed Karan Johar but ‘Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu’ director Shakun Batra.

“There were at least five scenes where Kareena felt her character Riana was similar to Geet in Jab We Met. She marked those in the script and suggested how we could change them. Throughout the film's making, Kareena was full of sensible, intelligent suggestions,” said Shakun Batra.
