After wrapping up the first schedule of the film in Karnataka, the unit of ‘Shirdi Sai’ is currently in Kulu Manali filming key sequences of the film on Akkineni Nagarjuna, who plays the title role. The movie is being directed by K Raghavendra Rao.

Nagarjuna, who plays the role of Shiridi Sai Baba for the first time in his career, is taking extra care to make the character a memorable one. Reportedly, the film not only depicts the history of Sai Baba, it will also showcases the miracles of him.

‘Shirdi Sai’ is produced by A Mahesh Reddy. MM Keeravani provides the music, while Paruchuri Brothers are penning the dialogues. The movie is expected to release in second half of 2012.
