Actress Kalki Koechlin, who is known for her offbeat movies like ‘Dev D’, ‘Emotional Atyachaar’, ‘Shaitan’ and ‘The Girl in Yellow Boots’, has signed her second full-fledged commercial film.

The actress, who made her first commercial movie outing with ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’, has now joined the cast of ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’, which includes Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone.

The movie is directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Karan Johar’s home productions.

Karan Johar was the one to break the news of Kalki being a part of the movie through Twitter.

“Our film...YEH JAWANI HAI DEEWANI starts this month...directed by ayan mukherji and stars RANBIR- DEEPIKA and ADITYA ROY KAPUR and KALKI (sic),” Karan Johar tweeted.

The movie is set to go on floors soon and will release at the end of this year.
