The makers of ‘Agent Vinod’ have suffered another set back as their ambitious project has been banned in Pakistan just before 5 days from its release.

The Islamabad censor board was of the opinion that the movie would hurt the sentiments of Pakistani’s as the movie has a reference to Pakistan spy agency ISI.

The sale of movie tickets has stopped and the hoardings across Karachi have been removed, which has left the fans very disappointed.

This isn’t the first time that the movie has been embroiled in controversy. Previously, Iranian music band ‘Barobax’ issued a notice against the makers of the movie and music director Pritam Chakraborty for copyright violation of the song ‘Pyaar Ki Pungi’.

Pritam and Saif Ali Khan though have denied the news and said that ‘Pyaar Ki Pungi’ is an original composition of Pritam.

The movie stars Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles. The movie is directed by Sriram Raghavan and produced by Saif Ali Khan and Dinesh Vijan. The movie will release on March 23rd.
