Kareena Kapoor will add to the glitz and glamour at the opening ceremony of the fifth Indian Premier League at YMCA College of Physical Education Nandanam in Chennai on April 3.

The actress is all set to enthrall the audience with her performance on the opening night to few of her hit songs from her movies.

The opening ceremony already includes the performances by ace choreographer Prabhu Deva, actress Priyanka Chopra and Salman Khan. The opening ceremony will be hosted by none other than legendary Amitabh Bachchan.

Recently, news that international pop sensation Kate Perry would be performing at the ceremony was revealed.

Now Kareena Kapoor is all set to her own brand of ebullience to this star studded evening making it even more memorable for the audience.

The captains of the nine teams will also present at the opening night.

Tickets prices will start at Rs 1500 and can be purchased from IPLT20.com. The evening's performances will start at 19:30 and gates will open from 17:00.
