The Hindi remake of hit Tamil movie ‘Vettai’ seems to be in jeopardy.
After Sonakshi Sinha and Asin rejected to be a part of the movie and Karan Johar, who was to co-produce the movie along with UTV production house, walked out of the project, the lead actor of the movie Shahid Kapoor might just do the same now.
Apparently, Shahid Kapoor, who had enthusiastically agreed to do the movie, is not happy with the way the final script has come out. He is shocked and not liking the changes made to the original version. And now he is contemplating about walking out of the project. He has spoken to Karan Johar about the same.
“The final narration did not go down too well with Shahid. He won't do the film, if he is not happy with it,” said a source.
Director of the movie Linguswamy, who directed the original, will now fly down to Mumbai on Thursday to talk with Shahid Kapoor.
Previously, Sonakshi Sinha had rejected the movie because she wasn’t happy to play the second female lead in the movie.
Asin who was offered to play the lead role also rejected the movie due to her prior commitments ‘Two States’ with Shah Rukh Khan and ‘Most Wanted’ with Salman Khan.
Ileana D’Souza, who will make her Bollywood debut with Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra starrer ‘Barfi’, is now rumored to the play the female lead in the movie.
