Vishal Bhardwaj’s movie ‘Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola’, starring Imran Khan and Anushka Sharma is one of the most eagerly anticipated movies of the year.

This is the first time that actress Anushka Sharma will be working outside Yash Raj Production house. 

The actress, who recently completed the first schedule of the film in Rajkot, said that she was very excited about the movie.

“I am really happy to be working with Vishal Bhardwaj. We just finished a schedule in Rajkot and we are back. He really is a genius director. He knows how much of what you need to use and portray that in his films,” she said.

‘Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola’ is a comedy film and according to Anushka Sharma nothing like she has done before.

“For me, it was a little different. The kind of films that I have done was different from this one. I was nervous in the beginning, but I think it's going really well and I am really looking forward to it,” she said.

The movie is scheduled to release later this year.
