Director Kunal Deshmukh, who is working with actor Emraan Hashmi yet again, said that people were finally noticing Emraan Hashmi’s caliber. The director compared Emraan Hashmi’s career with that of Saif Ali Khan.

“Emraan's career is a lot like Saif Ali Khan's. Saif was the same person but suddenly after ‘Dil Chahta Hai’, he turned out to be a cool dude. Something like that has happened with Emraan. He is doing really well,” said Kunal Deshmukh to IANS.

The director, who has worked with Emraan Hashmi in ‘Tum Mile’ and ‘Jannat’, said that the actor had grown since his debut movie ‘Footpath’.

“Emraan has not changed, but people have woken up. He is challenging himself. He is bringing a lot to the table. He is ironing on all levels than just in one. Now suddenly it's cool to watch Emraan Hashmi. People are waking up slowly,” said the director.

Kunal Deshmukh’s and Emraan Hashmi’s new movie ‘Jannat 2’ is all set to release tomorrow. Produced by Mukesh Bhatt, the movie also stars debutant Esha Gupta and Randeep Hooda.
