Rumors that director Karan Johar will be bringing one of Bollywood’s most celebrated Jodi, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, together in his next movie have been quite rife for a long time now.

But the filmmaker said that he currently is busy working on his movie ‘Student of the Year’ and has no idea about his next project let alone pairing Shah Rukh and Kajol together.

“No, there’s nothing. Right now, my entire focus is on ‘Student of the Year (SOTY)’. In fact, I haven’t planned a thing (as far as his new venture goes) next. Everything you read or hear is just conjecture,” he said to a daily.

It was previously reported that as Karan Johar works on one movie at a time, he will be announcing his next project starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol only in the year end and the romantic film would start rolling next year.

The director though admitted that he always dreams of working with Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol as according him they are best on screen couple of Indian cinema.

“Of course it would always be my biggest honor to work with Shah Rukh and Kajol who, I believe, is the best pair Hindi cinema has ever seen. I would always want to work with them, but there’s nothing on the cards,” he said.

Currently Karan Johar is busy with his directorial venture ‘Student of the Year’ after his blockbuster hit ‘My Name Is Khan’.

The movie stars Rishi Kapoor as a gay principle and marks the debut of Alia Bhatt (Mahesh Bhatt’s daughter), Varun Dhawan (David Dhawan’s son) and model Siddharth Malhotra.

But it’s been rumored that Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol are set to make a guest appearance in the movie. Let’s see if at least this rumor turns out to be true.
