Ever since Akshay Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan were spotted together during the Indian Premier League match between Pune Warriors and Kolkata Knight Riders, its being said that the duo has put aside their difference are now good friends.

But according to the latest reports the duo though has put aside their differences and patched up, they are nothing close to friends as of yet.

Recent reports suggesting that Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna had a special screening of movie ‘Rowdy Rathore’ for Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri at Shah Rukh Khan’s mansion has both surprised and shocked Akshay and Twinkle.

“When the story came out, Akshay and Twinkle were shocked! Akshay even told his wife jokingly that he perhaps had forgotten when they went so could she remind me the exact day? She said she had no clue... Then they realized maybe ‘Rowdy Rathore’ producer Shabina Khan who is a good friend of Gauri's had perhaps organized a screening especially for Gauri and SRK at Mannat. Shah Rukh and Gauri are known to have their own private movie trials with their family and close friends there often,” said a source close to the couple.

“Though initially Akshay and Twinkle were a little upset as the story was completely untrue about their going to Mannat but later the couple had a good laugh about it and decided to ignore the matter,” he added.

After Shah Rukh Khan’s IPL team won the finals Shah Rukh Khan celebrated the victory at Prabhu Deva’s residence in Chennai along with his team. Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha were spotted partying with Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri.
