Yesteryear actor and the original Superstar of Indian Cinema, Rajesh Khanna, has fallen ill.

The actor, who was admitted to hospital in April due to ill health, has fallen ill again and has stopped food intake.

“Rajeshji is unwell. He has stopped having food since the last three or four days,” said Rajesh Khanna’s manager Ashwin to IANS.

“He is not able to have his food. Khaana muh pe nahi jaa raha hai (The food is not going into his mouth),” he added.

The 69 year old superstar’s estranged wife Dimple Kapadia is currently taking care of him. His younger daughter Rinke Khanna recently flew down from Kolkata to Mumbai.

“Rinke and her mother Dimple Kapadia are by his side and taking care of him,” Ashwin said.

The manager though refused to divulge if hospitalization would be required.

Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia’s elder daughter, Twinkle Khanna, wife of Akshay Kumar, who is pregnant currently has been praying in Gurudwara for her father’s health.

The actor, who made his debut with ‘Aakhri Khat’ in 1966, has delivered many memorable performances in movies like ‘Anand’, ‘Aradhana’, ‘Raaz’, ‘Kati Patang’, ‘Amar Prem’ etc.  He earned the titles of ‘first superstar’ of Hindi cinema and ‘Kaka’.

The actor was recently seen in a TV commercial for Havell's fan directed by R.Balki. It was rumored that actor would be making a comeback on big screen but his health has forbade him from doing so.

We hope that the veteran actor recovers soon.
