The movie ‘Student of the Year’ will see filmmaker Karan Johar getting behind the cameras after his hugely successful movie ‘My Name is Khan’, few years ago. Not only is the audience eagerly waiting for the movie to release but Karan Johar himself is very excited about the movie.

Recently the directed released the poster for the movie and tweeted “The Student of the Year (SOTY) teaser poster”.

The poster released shows the backs of the students Rohan, Shanaya and Abhimanyu played by new comers – model turned actor Siddharth Malhotra, Mahesh Bhatt’s second daughter Alia Bhatt and David Dhawan’s son Varun Dhawan respectively.

Along with the new comers the movie also stars Rishi Kapoor as a Dean.

Later Karan Johar went on to reveal second poster of the movie, which just had Siddharth Malhotra in it.

The movie is co-produced by Shah Rukh Khan, who along with Kajol does a cameo in the movie.

The movie is all set to release on October 19.
