After mesmerizing everyone with his performance as Rauf Lala in ‘Agneepath’, veteran actor Rishi Kapoor will be seen in a similar avatar in the movie ‘Aurangzeb’.

“Yes Rishi Kapoor will be playing the role of a villain in `Aurangzeb’,” confirmed Yash Raj Films spokesperson.

The movie ‘Aurangzeb’ will be directed by Atul Sabharwal and produced by Yash Raj Films. The movie will star Arjun Kapoor of ‘Ishaqzaade’ fame as the male lead. It’s been reported that the actor is all set to play a double role in the movie.

The movie will also bring together Jackie Shroff and Amrita Singh again after almost two decades.

The movies is rumored to be a fresh take on 1978 blockbuster film `Trishul` and will release next year.

Rishi Kapoor’s portrayal as Rauf Lala in ‘Agneepath’ was considered one of the finest performances by the actor. To see him in a similar villainous role in ‘Aurangzeb’ will be a treat to everyone.
