Even though Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan is one the most sought after actors in the industry, the actor has always made it a point to work in one movie at a time.
But this decision of the actor has left the actor with absolutely no movies in hand after the completion of his movie ‘Krrish 3’, directed by his dad Rakesh Roshan.
“At the moment, I haven’t signed anything besides Krrish 3. So I am going to be out of work after wrapping it up,” said the actor jokingly in an interview with HT.
But there have been rumors that the actor had signed three new movies recently. Its been said that the actor would be playing role of Lord Shiva in Karan Johar’s movie adaptation of the famous novel ‘The Immortals Of Meluha’ by Amish Tripati. The other movie the actor is said to be a part of is director Shekhar Kapur’s next ambitious project ‘Paani’. The third and the final movie is said to be Kabir Khan’s next to be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
“None of them are true. Immortals is just an idea and so far, it hasn’t taken any shape. As for Paani, there’s no development from my front. I am yet to decide what I am going to do next,” said Hrithik Roshan.
When asked why he hasn’t signed any new projects he said, “I don’t know. Maybe I am waiting for the right script to inspire me. Or possibly, people who have something inspirational (in terms of script and storyline) aren’t coming to me.”
The actor is currently busy with Rakesh Roshan’s superhero movie ‘Krrish 3’, which is the third movie in ‘Krrish’ franchise.
The movie stars Priyanka Chopra as the female lead. Actress Kangna Ranaut will be India’s first female superhero Superwoman. Vivek Oberoi plays the male antagonist Kaal and Shaurya Chauhan plays female antagonist Illusion.
The movie is all set to be released with a big bang during Diwali 2013 in both 2D and 3D formants.
