Hrithik Roshan, who acted alongside veteran actress Sridevi as a child artist in 1986 film ‘Bhagwan Dada’, is very impressed with actress’s comeback movie ‘English Vinglish’ promos.
“I have seen the promos and they look amazing. Even my friends have liked it. One can make out that it is a touching story. It is such a nice script...amazing,” he said to PTI.
Hrithik Roshan was Mehboob studio to shoot for an ad film when he learnt that Sridevi was present at the same studio. The actor immediately rushed to meet Sridevi and express his eagerness to see her back on big screen after nearly 15 years.
“I am dying to see the film. I am sure it is going to be a winner all the way,” he said.
In fact Hrithik Roshan, who is supposed to be on an outdoor shooting around the same time, has postponed the shooting so he can watch the movie.
“I would be there to see the film on October 4. I was supposed to leave for an outdoor shoot. But I will go by next flight,” he said.
Reliving the experience of working in ‘Bhagwan Dada’ with Sridevi, Hrithik Roshan said, “I did a film with her. I used to make so many mistakes but she was very nice to me and made me comfortable.”
Sridevi paid back the compliments by stating that Hrithik Roshan was a great person as well as a great actor.
“I was very excited to see him here. He is a very spontaneous...warm and affectionate person. He is an all rounder. He should be in Hollywood films,” said Sridevi.
Sridevi’s comeback movie ‘English Vinglish’ is directed by debutant director Gauri Shinde, wife of filmmaker R. Balki, who is producing the movie. The movie features a small cameo by veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan.
The movie is all set to release on October 5.
