Arjun Rampal, who had surprised everyone with his stellar performance in ‘Raajneeti’, has once again teamed up with his ‘Raajneeti’ director Prakash Jha for the movie ‘Chakravyuh’.
The filmmaker Prakash Jha is known to get the best performances out of his cast. Arjun Rampal confesses that he has put a lot of effort in this movie.
“Yes, and I am happy to call this as my pet baby project of the year. I have put a lot into it and working with my favorite director Prakash Jha is anyways something different,” he said to a daily.
This is the first time that Arjun Rampal will be playing a role of a cop.
“I always thought that if at all I had to play the role of a cop, it had to be with him. Now I would be working in his 'Satyagraha' next,” he said.
‘Chakravyuh’ that is all set to release on October 24 will clash with Arjun Rampal’s other movie ‘Ajab Gazabb Love’, in which Arjun Rampal plays a double role.
But the actor doesn’t think that fates of either movie will be affected even though they would be releasing on the same day.
“'Ajab Gazabb Love' is totally Jackky's (Bhagnani) film. I have an interesting cameo in the film and that's quite a surprise element. I did the film out of love for Vashuji and Jackky. The clash shouldn't affect either of the two films,” Arjun Rampal concluded.
Along with Arjun Rampal, ‘Chakravyuh’ also stars Abhay Deol and Esha Gupta in lead roles.
