Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor, who recently bought the rights to remake hit American Television show ‘24’ in India, said that he wouldn’t mind casting his daughter Sonam Kapoor in the show if he finds a perfect role for her.
“If there is a character which suits Sonam or Sonam thinks will suit her, then why not? We will definitely pitch, these days we have to talk to Sonam's managers,” said Anil Kapoor to IANS in an interview.
The actor, Anil Kapoor, had played the role of Omar Hassan, president of the fictional Islamic Republic of Kamistan, during the eighth season of the show.
‘24’ is an American television series that started in 2001 and ran till 2010, with a total of 192 episodes.
When asked which his favorite Indian Television show was he said, “"I liked Buniyaad, which was directed by Ramesh Sippy ji. I loved that.”
