Iconic actor Dilip Kumar Saab celebrates his 90 birthday today.

One of the most beloved and legendary actor Dilip Kumar said that he had no regrets in his nine decade long life.

“I can look back at my life with a sense of satisfaction and some surprise at certain events that have added the twists and turns to an otherwise normal, serene life,” said Dilip Kumar to IANS in an interview.

When asked what ever his greatest events and milestones in his life, the veteran actor said, “My entry into the profession of acting which was most unexpected. My marriage to a beautiful girl two score years younger with whom I had declined to co-star because she was too young to be my leading-lady, my decision to challenge myself by switching over to comedy when I was being hailed for my intense tragic roles that had evoked public esteem and adulation.”

In yet another interview with TOI, Dilip Kumar Saab said that he greatfull to Almighty for giving him such a blissful life.

“It is said a man is as old as he feels and a woman, as old as she looks. I feel as good and healthy as I felt on my last birthday and the birthday before that. Of course, I am grateful to the Almighty that I have lived to this age. I am able to eat what I like, walk without help and enjoy all the small and simple pleasures of life,” said the veteran actor.

The actor though has decided not to celebrate his birthday, for he is still mourning the loss of his dear colleagues who departed in the recent times.
