Actor turned director Arbaaz Khan, who is making his debut as a director with ‘Dabangg 2’, said that his brother and ‘Dabangg’ hero, Salman Khan, is currently the most bankable star.

“Not only from a director's point of view, but Salman is a star for everybody... he is the most bankable actor currently,” said Arbaaz Khan while promoting his movie ‘Dabangg 2’.

“One can see it from his past few releases. He is clearly a winner and obviously way ahead of his contemporaries in terms of box-office collection,” he added.

Given that ‘Dabangg’, which released in 2010, was a huge blockbuster hit and went on to have a huge fan following, the expectations from the sequel are pretty high.

“Pressure is there as its (film industry) a very competitive line with huge fan following for Bollywood. So whether it's the first film, second film or third film, everyone expects the film to be successful at the box-office,” he said.

“As far as sequel is concerned, obviously there is a lot of expectation... We only thought of making a soulful film with no business parameters involved,” he added.

The song ‘Munni Badnaam’ from ‘Dabangg’ till date remains a favorite among many fans. Arbaaz Khan confirmed that his wife Malaika Arora Khan is definitely a part of the movie and will return in her famous ‘Munni’ avatar.

“Malaika is doing a brief appearance in one of the songs," he concluded.

‘Dabangg 2’ stars Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha and Prakash Raj. Arbaaz Khan will reprise his role as Salman Khan’s brother in the film. Malaika Arora Khan and Kareena Kapoor make special appearances in ‘Pandeyji Seeti Maare’ and ‘Fevicol’ songs respectively.The movie is all set to release on December 21.
