Actress Chitrangada Singh, whose upcoming movie ‘Inkaar’ deals with sexual harassment of women in workplace, said that even though sexual harassment in Bollywood is lesser when compared to other places, sexual harassment still exists.

“Sexual harassment is everywhere and the industry is no exception. However, I think it is comparatively lesser here than at other places. Nowadays for actresses, there is a lot of work available so you can decide who you want to work with,” said Chitrangada Singh in an interview with Mid-Day.

The actress, who hails from Delhi, said that only education and marches won’t help in curbing rapes in the city but immediate justice will help the case.

“I went to college in Delhi and I used to stay in a hostel there. I think the situation is really bad there. It can be due to the big cultural and traditional gap between people. Only education and marches are not going to help. Justice should be attained quickly and I want it as early as tomorrow,” she said.

Chitrangada Singh, who is working with Arjun Rampal for the first time in the movie, said that she dint feel awkward doing sex scenes with Arjun Rampal as they share a great rapport together.

“I went to college in Delhi and I used to stay in a hostel there. I think the situation is really bad there. It can be due to the big cultural and traditional gap between people. Only education and marches are not going to help. Justice should be attained quickly and I want it as early as tomorrow,” she said.

“I was nervous while enacting some sequences. I had a mental block. Arjun would keep the atmosphere light on the sets by cracking some jokes in between the shots. However, we still ended up doing several takes,” she added.

Directed by Sudhir Mishra, ‘Inkaar’ is all set to release on January 18.
