Recently it was reported that filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj is so impressed with his ‘Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola’ actor Imran Khan that he is planning on replacing Shahid Kapoor in Imran Khan in ‘Kaminey’ sequel.

But Imran Khan denied the news and said that there hasn’t yet been any discussion on ‘Kaminey 2’. But the actor did they that he would love to work with Vishal Bhardwaj again.

“There has been no discussion at all with Vishal (Bhardwaj) sir at all on 'Kaminey 2'. Having said that, I would love to work with Vishal sir once again after ‘Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola’, “said Imran Khan to a daily.

According to sources now that ‘Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola’ is done, Vishal Bhardwaj will soon begin working on ‘Kaminey 2’.

The sources also said that as of now Vishal still has Shahid Kapoor in mind for the lead role.

“It (Kaminey 2) is on the cards but when and how is not yet decided. As soon as Vishal's ‘Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola’ is released, work is likely to begin on the project. Also, we will have to wait for Shahid Kapoor to finish shooting for Prabhu Deva's film,” said a source to PTI.

‘Kaminey’ that was released in 2009, starred Shahid Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Amol Gupte in lead roles. According to sources Priyanka Chopra won’t be a part of sequel.
