Actress Sonakshi Sinha is very excited to shoot for her item number in Sajid Khan’s upcoming movie ‘Himmatwala’.

“I am doing a song for Sajid's film ‘Himmatwala’. I am shooting for it tomorrow. Wish me luck,” said actress Sonakshi Sinha.

This is Sonakshi Sinha’s second item number. She previous featured in the song ‘Go Go Govinda’, along with Prabhudeva, in Akshay Kumar’s movie ‘Oh My God’.

The actress said that this song was very different from her previous song.

“The song is very different. It is a disco number from the 80s and I am looking forward to it. I enjoy dancing,” said the actress.

While the music for the movie is being composed by Sajid-Wajid, this particular song is composed by the duo Sachin-Jigar and has been sung by Sunidhi Chauhan.

‘Himmatwala’ is a remake of 1983 Hindi movie of same name that starred Jeetendra and Sridevi. The 1983 version itself was a remake of Telugu movie ‘Ooriki Monagadu’, starring Krishna and Jayapradha.

2013 ‘Himmatwala’ stars Ajay Devgn and South Indian actress Tamannaah. It also stars Paresh Rawal, Adhayayan Suman and Mahesh Manjrekar.

The movie will release on March 29.
