Actor Anupam Kher, who worked with veteran actress Rekha in movies like ‘Sansar’ and ‘Meri Pati Sirf Mera Hai’, will reunite with the actress on screen in an upcoming movie ‘Super Nani’.

Anupam Kher is very excited to work alongside Rekha after a very long gap.

“It's a very wonderful role and it will be great to work with Rekha after a gap of so many years. I am excited to work with her. We are starting the shooting from the first week of February,” said Anupam Kher to IANS.

Veteran actor praised Rekha’s performances in movies like ‘Umrao Jaan’, ‘Utsav’ and ‘Ghar’ and said that Rekha is one of those rare actors who keep reinventing themselves.

“She is fantastic. She is another person who keeps reinventing herself. I am really looking forward to work with her. I am 100 percent sure she is looking as great as ever,” he said.

Anupam Kher refused to divulge any further information on his character but said that the shooting for the movie will begin soon.

“I will start shooting soon, so you will have to wait and watch,” he concluded.

‘Super Nani’ is a movie on woman empowerment and also stars Sharman Joshi and Randhir Kapoor. The movie is directed by Indra Kumar, who also co-produces the movie with Ashok Thakeria.
