Every actor makes mistakes: Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar had a very good 2012 with his movies – ‘Rowdy Rathore’, ‘Oh My God’ and ‘Khiladi 786’ being declared as superhits.

Even though Akshay Kumar had more number oh hits in 2012 than any other Bollywood actor he doesn’t believe in number games.

“I don't believe in competition as I don't believe in number one or two or three. I am not a horse running in a race course,” said Akshay Kumar to PTI.

The only movie of his to flop in 2012 was ‘Joker’.

Akshay Kumar said that everyone makes mistakes in life and actors are no exception. He also believes that making mistakes helps a person to grow.

“Everyone commits mistakes. It happens now and will happen in future. I have made mistakes and I still do. Things either go right or wrong. There is no actor in the industry who does not commit any mistake. There is no actor who will say I will never make any,” he said.

“According to me, mistakes are a big step to go ahead in life. There is not much change in me except that my bank balance has increased," he concluded.

2013 will be a busy year for Akshay Kumar as he has Neeraj Pandey's heist drama ‘Special Chabbis’ (February 8), Milan Luthria's crime drama ‘Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai 2’ (August),  Anthony D'Souza's action film ‘Boss’ (June) and AR Murugadoss remake of Tamil action thriller ‘Thuppakki’ up for release this year.
