Abbas-Mustan's action thriller ‘Race 2’ has become the first movie of 2013 to enter the 100 Crores Club.

‘Race 2’ starring Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Jacqueline Fernandez and Ameesha Patel released on January 25.

The movie had a strong opening weekend and went on to collect Rs. 51.35 crores nett on the opening weekend itself.

The movie had a strong second week collecting Rs. 24.35 crores nett.

Made on a budget of Rs. 60 crore the movie has garnered a collection of Rs.100.45 crore at the box-office.

“We are glad that ‘Race 2’ is continuing its great run at the box office and holding its position throughout," Gaurav Verma, director - India theatrical distribution, Studios, Disney UTV, said in a statement.

“We had complete faith in the film and are extremely happy that audiences have liked the film and have made it possible for the film to reach this position," he added.

The movie is co-produced by UTV Motion Pictures and Tips Music Films.
