After signing Varun Dhawan for a movie, filmmaker Ekta Kapoor has gone ahead and signed yet another ‘Student of the Year’ actor Siddharth Malhotra for an upcoming movie.

The movie titled ‘The Villain’ will be directed by Mohit Suri.

“Proud to share another film of ours being launched. Siddharth Malhotra starrer, Mohit Suri director... The Villain,” tweeted Girish Johar, head of acquisition and distribution, Balaji Motion Pictures.

Siddharth Malhotra, who played a chocolate lover boy in ‘Student of the Year’, is glad to have an opportunity to show his dark side in this movie.

“Really excited about my new project with Balaji... Will be fun walking the dark side," Siddharth tweeted.

Siddharth Malhotra, who made his debut with Dharma Productions, recently signed a second movie with them. The movie ‘Hasi Toh Phasi’ will be directed by debutant director Vinil Matthew, an ad filmmaker. The movie co-produced by Phantom Films stars Parineeti Chopra as the female lead.

Meanwhile, Siddharth Malhotra’s ‘Student of the Year’ co-star Varun Dhawan will be seen in ‘Main Tere Hero’, a remake of Telugu movie ‘Kandireega’. Produced by Ekta Kapoor, the movie will be directed by Varun Dhawan’s father and filmmaker David Dhawan.
