Choreographer Remo D’Souza, who made his directorial debut with ‘ABCD: Any Body Can Dance’, confirmed that the sequel for the movie is definitely on cards.
‘ABCD: Any Body Can Dance’, India’s first 3D dance movie, received positive response from both critics and audience. The movie garnered good collections at the box-office and was declared a hit.
Remo D’Souza, who is pleased with the response his debut movie received, said that there is an added pressure to surpass the standards set by 'ABCD: Any Body Can Dance' in the sequel.
“The competition between them (the dancers) will increase as ‘ABCD: Any Body Can Dance’ has set a standard. But it is going to be more tense for me because if I have to make a sequel then I will have to go above the set standard,” said Remo D’Souza to IANS.
The movie ‘ABCD: Any Body Can Dance’ starred choreographers Prabhu Deva and Ganesh Acharya and actor Kay Kay Menon. Remo D’Souza confirmed that the sequel will see Prabhu Deva and Ganesh together once again.
When asked who, according to him, the evergreen dancers in Bollywood are, Remo said, "Mithun Chakraborty is an evergreen dancer. In heroines, Madhuri Dixit."
