Actress Priyanka Chopra is all set to do her first ever item number in Ekta Kapoor’s movie ‘Shootout at Wadala’.

The actress had previously denied the reports but director of the movie, Sanjay Gupta, recently confirmed the news.

“So Priyanka Chopra it is guys! She will be performing our smashing retro chartbuster- Babli badmaash hai, composed by Anu Malik,” tweeted Sanjay Gupta.

‘Shootout at Wadala’ stars John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Sonu Sood, Mahesh Manjrekar, Manoj Bajpai, Tusshar Kapoor, Ronit Roy and Kangna Ranaut.

The film is based on the first-ever registered encounter by Mumbai police, where gangster Manya Surve was shot dead. The encounter took place in Wadala, Mumbai on November 1 1982.

The film is expected to release on May 1.
