Actress Jacqueline Fernandez will be shaking a leg alongside ace choreographer Prabhu Deva in Prabhu Deva’s upcoming directorial venture ‘Ramaiya Vasta Vaiya’.

‘Ramaiya Vasta Vaiya’, a remake of Prabhu Deva’s Telugu movie ‘Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana’, stars Shruti Haasan, daughter of veteran actor Kamal Haasan, and debutant Girish Taurani, son of producer Kumar Taurani.

Kumar Taurani, who produces the movie, confirmed that Jacqueline Fernandez will make a special appearance in the song ‘Jaadu Ki Jhappi De De Tu Abhi’.

“We have Prabhu Deva, Jacqueline and Girish (leading hero of the film) doing a special song ‘Jaadu Ki Jhappi De De Tu Abhi’. It is a travel song but not like ‘Chaiyyan Chaiyyan’, it is very different," producer Kumar Taurani told PTI.

The producer said that the song was very much a part of the movie and wasn’t added just to follow the trend of having item numbers in the movie.

“The song is very much a part of the film. It has not been added for promotional reasons. The boy (Girish) goes from city to village in search of his love, this is where the song appears in the film," Taurani said.

The movie stars Sonu Sood, Randhir Kapoor and Vinod Khanna in crucial roles.

‘Ramaiya Vasta Vaiya’ is all set to release on June 7.
