Ayushmann Khurrana, who made his Bollywood debut last year with ‘Vicky Donor’, is gearing up for the release of his second movie ‘Nautanki Saala’.
The actor said that the movie ‘Nautanki Saala’ is unlike any movie ever made as the movie is unique in the sense that the plot revolves around theatre, something no film has ever taken seriously.
“It's also very quirky as ‘Vicky Donor’, also quite out-of-the-box. We are talking about theatre. None of the films has taken theatres very seriously, but we have and we have shot in a theatre. It is very unique,” said Ayushmann Khurrana to IANS.
The actor is of an opinion that ‘nautanki’ i.e. drama is a part of everyone’s lives.
“I think nautanki is something everyone does and if we don't do it, then there would be no fun in life. We do some kind of a drama everyday, or lie to our teachers, in front of our directors or co-actor. So I think its all part of the game,” he said.
‘Nautanki Saala’ is directed by Rohan Sippy.
The movie also stars Kunal Roy Kapur, Pooja Salvi and Evelyn Sharma.
The movie is all set to release on April 12.
